The National Federation of State High School Organizations has led the advancement of education and learning-based interscholastic sports as well as activities that assist pupils succeed in their lives since 1920.
The NFHS, from its offices in Indianapolis, Indiana, serves its 50-member state secondary school athletic/activity organizations, plus the District of Columbia. The NFHS publishes playing rules in 16 sports for boys and girls, and also provides programs in speech, theater, debate and music.
